Drove close to 3000km up to the tippity top of the south island and back. Visited the natural hot springs of the Copeland Track, revisited the Abel Tasman Track and walked the Heaphy Track. I lost my favorite red baggies at a hostel and dropped my beloved 50mm f/1.4 onto tarmac, consequently it no longer has a manual focus override switch. It rained for the vast majority of the break. The photos in this post are almost all from the Heaphy Track -- it was too wet to take my camera out on the Copeland and Abel Tasman.
